Next TAB Meeting - October 1

The next TAB meeting will be held on Monday Oct. 1 from 4 - 5pm in the program room at the Centerville Library. We'll be welcoming some new members, brainstorming contest ideas for January/February, and, as always, having fun. Wear your TTT t-shirt and get a prize! If you don't have a TTT t-shirt yet, just comment to this post (don't forget to add your name). See you there!

Meeting Minutes - September 17

Attendance: 21

• Welcome friends of TAB members!
• Icebreaker: name, school, grade; "if you could introduce a new class in school, what would it be?"
• Prizes were handed out to those wearing TTT t-shirts
• New TAB folders were passed out and reviewed
• Reminder to check the blog (sometimes you can receive a prize!)
• Review reminders (on blog)--remember to check the Cool Reads & Hot Picks blog
• Went over volunteer opportunities (on blog)
• Brainstormed words for November contest and guess jar names for December contest
• Went over upcoming programs and contests
• Discussed Teen Ink magazine and whether or not we should continue to receive it--people aren't taking it. Decided to see what happens within the next few months.
• New Moo cards have arrived!
• Brainstormed ideas for polls on the 'braryblog
• A couple of lucky attendees received a prize taped under their chairs
• T-shirts were handed out to those who had not yet received them

Next TAB Meeting - September 17

The next TAB meeting is Monday September 17 from 4 - 5pm in the program room of the Centerville Library. Remember, this is an open TAB meeting, so bring your friends or anyone you know that may be interested in joining TAB. You'll also receive your 2007-2008 TAB folders. See you there!

The first two Tabbers to email the TAB mailbox or comment to this post with the number of friends you're bringing to the meeting (even if it's 0) will receive a prize! Don't forget to incude your name!
