Next Meeting - April 7

This is an early reminder that the next TAB meeting will be Monday, April 7, from 4-5pm at the Centerville Library, just in case some of you are going away for Spring Break. Hopefully we will be back in the program room, but if not look for us in the storytime area.

Don't forget your dry/canned goods for the food drive!

Meeting Minutes - March 17

Attendance: 15

• Icebreaker: If you could speak any language, what would it be and why?
• Reviews: Meghann will email people about old reviews. Sonali turned in her movie review. May reviews are due at the April 7 meeting.
• Volunteers were confirmed for upcoming programs.
• Brainstormed Tabbie Award categories. Kept most of the ones from last year but decided to replace a few with new categories. Janette and Amy will design the awards.
• Charitable donations: we are collecting canned/dry goods for the next meeting. Our goal is 75 items.
• Asked if any graduating seniors wanted to apply to work as a Summer Reading Club assistance during the summer.
• Meghann treated everyone to pizza!

The next TAB meeting will be held Monday March 17 from 4 - 5 pm at the Centerville Library. Remember, we're meeting in the storytime area again. We will brainstorm ideas for the Tabbies and other fun stuff. See you there!

Meeting Minutes - March 3

Attendance: 16

• Icebreaker: if you could control an animal, what would it be?
• Reviews: Maesa turned in her CD review. Amy, Shirin, Megan, and Sonali still need to turn them in. Assigned May reviews. Review guidelines were clarified. You can review any item, no matter how old, as long as the library carries it.
• Pats on the back were given to Megan, Teri, Sonali, Rahul, and Saniya.
• Volunteers for upcoming programs were confirmed.
• Took suggestions for the Karaoke Totally Teen Tuesday. Voted on getting a PS2 game rather than using a karaoke machine.
• Good Life Award reminder: the contest is open until April 1. You can win $3000!!!!
• Charitable donation ideas were discussed. We debated whether or not we should just make this an annual event but decided to try to do a food drive soon. Janette is checking with her church because they need items.
