Book Collection Reminder

Don't forget...we're collecting gently used or new children's and young adult books for the Children's Medical Center library. Bring them to any meeting during the summer and we'll deliver them in August. The kids will appreciate it!

Volunteers Needed

Please check the volunteer opportunities section on the left side of the screen and let us know if you can help at any programs. We have some volunteers already but are in need of more. Your work will be rewarded!

Important Summer Dates

Our next TAB meeting isn't until July 21, so here are some important dates to remember:

• Teen Summer Reading Club runs June 9 - August 2.
• Every Tuesday from June 10 - July 29 is Totally Teen Tuesday. We need more volunteers!
• Every Saturday from June 14 - August 2 is Make it Medieval outside Centerville Library from 1 -3.

Meeting Minutes - June 2

Attendance: 12

• First meeting for new officers!
• Icebreaker: if you had to live off one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
• Reviews: Rachel turned in her book review. Teri is working on her movie review. Manoj will need to be reminded about his CD review. Assigned August reviews (due at the July meeting). Decided to change CD review to artist or song review to give people more options.
• Pats on the Back: to Rachel and Michael for help at the Warrior program.
• Assigned/confirmed volunteers for upcoming events.
• Handed out Tabbies for those who weren't at the last meeting.
• Reminded everyone to collect gently used or new children's/teen books to donate to a local hospital's children's library. Rachel will be in charge of organizing this.
