- New officer announcements (see agenda from 4/19)
- Library Facebook page: TAB was very vocal about wanting a separate library Facebook page just for teens because:
- It’s awkward going on the normal one with adults – they don’t feel like commenting
- They would use it more
- They’d invite their friends to use it & would invite friends to library programs from the Facebook page
- They’re more likely to go to a teen Facebook page than the Teen blog
- It’s lots more relaxing to comment when it’s just teens
- TAB will revolt if they don’t get one :)
- Use it to advertise programs, discuss teen topics, post videos, create and post vodcasts, polls, link to book trailers, link eCat
- Any other business?
- Talked about doing a program at the assisted living centers where they’d show seniors how to use technology (iPods, digital cameras, etc.) Tom, Brandon, and Becca all expressed interest.
*May 17 will also be an open meeting. Bring friends or anyone you know that may be interested in joining TAB.
